Sharon grew up Southern California. She realized her love for photography while studying Communications and Photography at the University of Southern California from which she graduated.

Shortly after graduation, she moved to New York. Her first job was at Glamour Magazine as an photo intern, then secured a position in the Art Dept and worked with the Legend, Editor Ruth Whitney. Sharon stayed at Conde Nast, but moved to Vanity Fair Magazine, working in the photo department as photo producer for another Legendary Editor, Graydon Carter.

Sharon worked hands on with numerous Celebrity photographers, her favorites being Peter Lindbergh, Bruce Weber, Herb Ritts, Larry Fink, Platon, Pamela Hansen, Michael O'Neill and Peggy Sirota.

Sharon moved on to be an senior photo editor at Instyle, Bon Appetit, and also freelanced as a producer at Travel and Leisure, Newsweek, and Marie Claire.

In 2015, Sharon switched gears from photo editor to photographer taking photographs full-time. Her clients include Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Variety, NY Times and high profile private clients doing PR photos.
